The English speaking world calls the stretch of the Atlantic ocean south of Brittany, north of Spain and along that coast of France the Bay of Biscay.
The French call it the Bay of Gascony.
Neither side thinks about it.
“Mexico doesn’t recognize…” SFW? Americans think cats are wonderful pets for people with jobs. They aren’t needy like dogs and they kill mice. Haitians think they are delicious tree chickens. Nobody calls Germany or Germans the same thing across languages and yet they still goose step in squarehead contentment. Mexico wants to make the Gulf greasy again, Americans aren’t eating cats yet (another few months of the economic Bidenocalypse and that would have changed) and everyone knows the Allemand are the true tongue tied cousins of the English speaking people and nobody (especially them) cares what you call them.Last edited by Bluntforce; 01-30-2025, 05:27 PM.
