I like Pete. His head is screwed on straight. He is not a kid and I don't want to imply that...however, (and I hope I'm wrong because I want very badly for him to succeed) I'd have preferred to see a guy like Gen. Jack Keane or Col. Macgregor in that job. I fear the defense swamp will swallow Pete before he can reform the DOD.
