My God that is frigging horrifying. Yup lets go up in a giant flamable balloon sitting in a flameable straw basket and light a fire in the bottom of the damn thing. I just watched another video from S. America somewhere with a dozen people burning to death and some jumping to their death.

When the wife was going to college she worked a 1 hour photo place. The FAA always brought in pictures from investigations. 0ne was a ballon that hit high tension electrical lines. What she described was exactly the same as what my brother a lineman described.

Very sad story. RIP to all those poor people. What an awful way to go. There are risks in life, but some risks aren't worth taking. Hot air balloons are just one that comes to mind.
