Price war between Turkish and Filipino 1911's. The customer is the winner!

I like the Tisas GI model - it is patterned off the Remington Rand made 1911s.

Yup I have a Tisa and a Rock Island 1911 and they both shoot flawlessly and accurately. Put the suppressor on the Tisa and had one F to F but I think it was a bad reload? Still have my old Norinco and I wish the hell they were still selling those.
Sanders price went up on these to $368.99 and its still a great deal. I hope both companies keep fighting then I will keep buying.. 😉

I paid about $400 for my RIA .45 back in 2002. One of the best auto pistols I've ever owned. If the new ones are the same quality that's a steal.

There's a guy on youtube who took one of those Tisas and stripped the finish off and blued it with cold blue and put some nice grips on it and changed the springs and has a really beautiful, reliable pistol that is still way under $1,000.

My brother in law brought a RIA Officer's model that he picked up for me to try out. I didn't even notice the shorter barrel on it when shooting it. It was 100% reliable, but I guess it only came with 1 mag, so I wound up giving him a couple of my old GI mags.
