These sorts of protesters want to be manhandled in the roughest possible manner for the sake of video footage. The best way to interfere with their goals is to handle protesters as gently as possible. It sounds counter-intuitive, but it's true. No media outlet wants to do a lead story showing an ICE agent gently guiding a protester away.

Our county has had 4 anti-ICE protests this year. During the fourth one, not a single deputy, ICE agent or law enforcement person even showed up. The protesters did nothing more than shout at chain link fences, pine trees and mosquitoes. They were actively seeking conflict. No po-po was there, so it took all the wind out of their sails.

Bluedog, he came by the Bunker long time ago, and left on his own. Yeah, I seem to remember that avatar as well, then changed it to the dog. I wonder is he's still a lawyer.
