California Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed a law banning sales of one of the most popular types of handgun in the U.S.

Assembly Bill 1127, authored by State Rep. Jesse Gabriel, D-Encino, and state Rep. Catherine Stefani, D-San Francisco, received the governor's signature on Friday, Oct. 10.

The law bans new sales of "semi-automatic handguns that can be easily converted to a fully automatic machine gun with the use of a simple 'switch,'" according to a statement from Gabriel's office.

Somewhere I read Glock was modifying the design so the infamous switch could not be used. Besides the only people using them are gangsters and niqqers, so why not start getting those criminals in jail first. Oh OK, I get it, this is easier.
