    Joe Rogan

I was never really a fan of Joe Rogan, then everyone started talking about the trump interview. I actually sat there & watched the whole thing. The J.D.Vance interview I think I watched about a third, then questioned my attention span.

I just finished watching the Roger Waters interview. Those of y'all scratching your heads Roger was one of the original line up of Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd is my all time favorite bands. I tend to still listen to them daily. When Roger left the band I pretty much was done buying Pink Floyd music. Then the internet and YouTube really exposed me to the post Roger Pink Floyd concerts footage and concerts.

The Rogan interview told me a lot more of what I knew , assumed about Roger. At the same time I really enjoyed hearing about his views why many are not of my own he explained things I didn't know about him. I don't expect every one to watch it , but those familiar with the band & the music might enjoy it. I'm not now going to make a habit out of Joe Rogan interviews, but if the guest is right I'll check it out.

I like his interview style, as it is not really an interview, just a conversation with no real plan that could go anywhere. Like you, I'm no Rogan superfan, but if the guest is interesting to me, I'll listen. I listen to Joe Rogan and Theo Vonn podcasts on long road trips. Prior to the trip, I'll open up Spotify and scroll through all of their shows over the past year and mark any show that seems like I'd enjoy listening to.

Rogan is a former liberal who nowadays is considered "conservative".

Roger Waters is an egomaniac who tore apart the great Pink Floyd with his narcissism and jealously of David Gilmour. David Gilmour has more talent in one finger than Waters has in his entire body. Waters wanted founder Syd Barret excluded from any royalties after he was forced out of the band he started. Gilmour campaigned, successfully, to have Syd receive his rightful royalties after he became schizophrenic and became a virtual recluse.

I have said for years the Roger was damaged goods. His dad died when he was 5 months old and some how that fucked him up. His mom was a total libtard. I will say he still wrote some great lyrics and I will give him credit or that. In the interview he said he wrote about 20% of the music & lyrics.

I remember when Gilmour's first solo album came out I thought it was great. Waters first solo album not so great.

Roger was a talented artist in his own right when he was young and an integral part of that band early on. As time went on he seemed to go off the rails and was constantly at odds with Gilmour. So be it, they made some great music back when we were all a lot younger than today.
