Hope it turns out well. Good on you for researching the drug before you take it.

And when they fuck up they either kill you or scare the hell out of you. I had all my records and was ready to go to another dr. He said and I knew my heart was not an easy one to get to in an echo.

Wow, got a nice surprise from my regular primary doctor, whom by the way was the only one who called me after the surgery at the hospital. He said, Look, I had this case a few years ago, some young kid with a heart problem and the cardiologist just told him he needed a transplant, cardiologists go by their book, I study other books, I was able to save the kid after doing quite a bit of research and I found this medication that is made for muscle development, it increases your metabolism, eliminates fat and helps muscles get stronger, I'll give you a prescription, do your own homework which I know you do and if you think you want to take it, go ahead and I will get my own echo on you in six months to see how it did. I like this doctor, we get along very well, he's about my age and runs a nice office. Every time I go I take some pastry and sweets to his staff, they take good care of me when I need something. Carnitor, I'll be taking it three times a day. We'll see what it does.

            Good news!

The state of medical care is frightening. I have seen so much incompetence I do not even go to the doctor even though I probably need a good physical. Under diagnosis, missed diagnosis and general screw ups are very common and it is only getting worse. Its always a good idea to check twice or three times if necessary before freaking out (easier said than done i know).

Cujet's advice is spot on btw.

good thing is I get concerned, of course, but I don't trust doctors until I do my own research and homework. Remember I was told 12 years ago I had a brain tumor and it turned out to be cataracts.
