All great points as usual but I will add that the federal employee's union is a solid and loyal democrat voter base. The majority of federal workers are not essential so they are not being paid. I wonder if they realize the party they slavishly follow is responsible for their lack of a paycheck? It also shows that democrats treat their loyal base like trash and will do anything to protect their power even if it hurts their voters.
