My first snow of the season

I looked out my windo and saw snowflaes. Its sticking to grass. But melting when it lands on concrete.

Air temp is 33f. It was 24 when I got up this morning.
We have met the enemy and he is us.

We had a few flakes this afternoon, but nothing has stuck.

We probably won't get any until January, and it won't be much. I hate southern weather.

Keep it up there. I'd be content to never see another snowstorm again, let alone snow period.

We are supposed to get a big drop overnight into the low 40's for Tuesday morning.

Had our first snow overnight, our Great Pyrenees loved it, our Boston, mutt and Beagle had to practically be pushed outside.

We got more than I expected. It got down to 24f and we got 2 1/2 inches.
its not going to get above freezing today. Not normal for this early in the season.

                  I heard that it's going to be raining there . . . . . . raining iguanas.

Yeah those that survive will be shot. I'm taking my air rifle to Sanibel, I have a real monster that walks along the fence by the edge of the canal there and I have a few fruit trees going on. JUst discovered I have a Red Dragon fruit cactus , actually two and they were bearing fruit already but I haven't been back, about 100 banana trees and iguanas will eat them up. I'm taking a Key Lime Tree this time around, just bought it.

It was snowing here in NEO lightly today. There remains a light dusting of snow on the ground and in the shadows. but it got cold last night and is cold tonight.
