Same here. The US Army was the best job I ever had. I never quite clicked in the civilian sector.

Others are wired the same way. For example; There's a retired first sergeant in town and we're about the same age. When we meet, he calls me "Sir" and I call him "Top".

Back to yah my 4th Inf. brother. I missed this thread sorry vets hope yall had a good celebration. Most all the restaurants were doing free meals for vets. It was good to see the homeless vets eating out and enjoying themselves. Thank you for the restaurants that participated.
