I normally don't comment on other people's attire. Every once in a while I see someone with a MAGA hat (or similiar) and will make a friendly gesture and say "I like the hat". Same with veteran hats. I'll thank guys wearing Vietnam, Korea, or WWII hats.

As you know, I'm an Iraq War veteran, but don't advertise it. Most Iraq and Afghanistan guys don't. The only time I really talk about it is here, online. In my day-to-day life most people don't know and really don't care.

I made a sincere effort to re-connect through the VFW and AMVETS. Both organizations left me disappointed and so I left.
