O.K. kids were going on a hike in grizzly bear country. Everyone pack a lunch and wear good running shoes in case we see one.
O.K. so they brought bear spray article says so they knew their was bears in the area. I have seen people do some stupid sheet but that has to be close to the top of the list. Idiots poor kids. Damn.

Could be a lot of reasons why the bear attacked, could of startled it, momma bear with cubs, hunger, etc.

In the warmer months I like to go on solo canoe and camping adventures. Around here, all we have is black bears and I've never been bothered by one. That said; it's always on my mind. It's the only animal in Michigan that can kill me, and I'd rather not bump into one.
