I still like the Christmas season. I have most of my shopping done.
We have met the enemy and he is us.

Same here. It's for the kids (even if they are grown up).

My daughter and grandson are with us for a month, as her husband is out being accused of war crimes by the demoncrats. It's the first time we've had a little kid in the house for Christmas in several years. That's all I need for Christmas.

Yeah, it's for the kids...grand kids..even if they don't come by much and are only five minutes away. I think I'm gonna get me a goldfish.

That is friging beautiful Fred a Goldfish. Amazing how tough they are all they need is water and food. No bubble machines no rocks in the bowl no frigging nuttin just water and food for the little guys.
I had a piranha like that a meat eater. Bite other fish in half like a razor blade clean. My X B.I.L. got it from a guy who got it from some guy. Only a few are meat eaters the rest are vegetarians. Gave it a lizard it ate it and shot out of the fish bowl like a frigging rocket morta before it hit the floor. Must have been a poison lizard. Poor thing R.I.P. buddy.
I should have got a Goldfish.

If everything goes as planned all of my children will be together, probably for the last time for a while. J graduates from CC boot camp on the 23 then home for five days. My Marine is in with my granddaughter and my engaged daughter will be around. Next year it will probably just be me and the wife. I otherwise no longer care about Xmas but it does hold fond memories from childhood. Its all kind of melancholy.
