The communists seem to want to provoke CW#2. I do not think their "vision" of civil war here in America is quite what they envision. Warfare does not keep bankers hours and "a gated community" would not deter patriots from entering and cleaning house. I have seen this kind of warfare in SE Asia...I do not want to see it here. Liberals who.........."think".........that our professional and all volunteer military would, in its entirety mutiny against its commanders because of some communist revolutionary agitprop, have their collective heads up their asses. The pedos in my area aren't anything like what you're describing. They are almost all convicted of raping girls under the age of 13. I haven't found a single one that's "almost legal".
What I have found are excuses. Whenever the subject comes up about someone convicted of a sex crime, there's always some sort of excuse or attempt to explain away the offense.Comment

No I am full agreeing with what your saying Johnny and by no means am I defending the offenders. But I just wanted to bring to light that case with my buddies son who really was morally innocent but technically guilty. The kid is a hard working young feller and the judge was made aware of the letters the chick who did the damage was sending where she was apologizing for her lies.
The judge really was upset and told my friend the kids dad just that. But technically the kid was 'legally' guilty just by have sex with the girl.Comment

I respect your point of view, but it seems that EVERY time I dig into one of these cases, I hear the same old story.
"He got railroaded by the ex-spouse and judge."
"He had a really bad attorney."
"He just pleaded guilty to save others the pain of a trial."
It's possible that a very small percentage of the people on the sex offender registry are there unfairly, but I don't believe it. Right now I know a young man in another state who is fighting sex offender charges. He's guilty as Hell. But... his dad is paying HUGE money to attorneys and "friends" in high places in order to absolve his son. Actually, it seems to be working. The kid was supposed to spend a night in jail during initial charges, but managed to negotiate a hotel room instead. I kid you not. It's a dirty, dirty system. Money will set you free. That said... 99.9% of the scum bags on the sex offender registries are there for a reason. I'm an open-minded guy, but you're wasting your time if you try to advocate for the innocence of just one of them. I've heard it so much, I've grown numb. I'm not buying it.Comment

Spend a year in jail, His wife divorced him
He lost his job, He lost his children, Because
A 14-year-old neighbor girl accused him
Of having sex with her… No one believed it
But it ruined his life and then a week before
The trial, the girl came forward and admitted
That she made it all up to get back at him

Sad story. As guys, we're all at risk of a false accusation. It's a dangerous world and there are people who will destroy our lives at the drop of a hat.
One way to avoid any appearance of impropriety is to never be alone with a young lady. When I first joined the Army, an old sergeant major gave a presentation on this very subject and it stuck. Yes; there are exceptions to this rule, but by and large I followed it and it worked.
Years ago a father would have his daughter train for track team by running around a lake. He'd time her and was fairly demanding. One day, her time was very slow. She said it was because two Hispanic guys tried to grab her and drag her into the woods. The police responded, of course, and for days it was a huge man hunt. Finally... under questioning, the girl admitted she made up the whole thing because her run time was slow.
Things may have turned out differently had Jose and Armando been out fishing along the lake that day. Two innocent men's lives could have been destroyed by a girl with a slow run time.Last edited by Johnny; 12-07-2025, 07:07 AM.Comment
