Found out today my grandfather has stage 4 kidney cancer, has spread to his blood. Given his age (87 ) he is essentially has no treatment options and will be put on hospice within a week.

A good man whom I am honored to have been named after. Fuck Cancer.

I feel as you do, my wife of 32 years died from kidney cancer in 96. It still pisses me off big time.

We lost my grandmother last year and he hasn’t been the same since.

if everything my uncle told me when I talked to him is correct he doesn’t have much longer. I honestly think he’s holding out to see everybody one more time at Christmas. I’ve seen similar plenty of times as a nurses aid.

Still haven’t told my oldest, he was devastated last year when his grandmother passed.
