I have seen that many dimokunts see Che Guvera(sp) as some kind of saviour of the masses, a commy jesus who gave his life to free us from the chains of capitalism and happiness. Every time I see a kid wearing a Che t shirt I see only a fucking idiot. A cancer cell growing to further infect the American body politic with insanity, murder and grief. I have seen revolution. I have seen war. I DO NOT WANT THAT HERE.
I guarantee war is not fun. Dying by gunfire and or explosives is no way to go. Firefights are about the most frightening thing you can imagine. One of my mother's cousins, 89 years old now and I don't know if he's still alive or not, for I lost contact with him long ago, was sent to US in 1960, his mom eventually followed, as a matter of fact she later died in my mother's house. WEll at any rate, the guy left Cuba very early in the revolutionary process, grew up here and went on to get a PhD in Political Science, he became a professor at some university in Puerto Rico and was even fired for his leftist political views, he eventually found his way in the 90's here and spoke to my wife about teaching at the college, my wife never gave him a way in, he then went into some sort of business with some Cuban high profile officials who were tried for some sort of "Treason " and shot by a firing squad, he then disappeared for a while and later turned up in Spain. NOw you tell me how a young boy who came from escaping a communist country can turn out to be a lefty. It makes no sense. Not to me, I hate them guys and have done my best to fight them.....don't make me have another drink, it's too late.
