Dropping to 22° here tonight. This is not Flarda weather! Today Tallahassee, Gainesville and north of Jacksonville had a light snowfall.

The mountains are white but no appreciable snow depth. We need much snow or we will not have any irrigation water!

I was just thinking about you buddy. Yup weathermen predicted our temps 3 or 4 days ago and they damn sure nailed it. 23 degs. here right on the money like they said. Bit windy outside and that will drive the cold right through yah if your out their.
They called for rain showers and that is probably the rain turned 'snow' their getting in the Gainesville, Jacksonville A.O.?
I hope those FSU kids made a snowman they can send the picture to Greta.

Their all down aviators way not up here to cold. Guess they just flop out of the trees when it gets to cold. Gators burrow into the water banks like a beaver in the den they hibernate. They say Black Bears don't hibernate here but have not seen one for 2 months or so so I bet they somewhat do??
22 degs last night then up to 30 degs at sunrise now back to 27 in the shade. Sink running out side at the fish cleaning station with a slab of ice under it. GloBULL warming where is Greeeta when it gets cold. Greeeta come out come out wherever you is?

19 degrees here this morning, way too cold for anything outside but looking. I didn't cut wood this year for the wood stove & it is too cold for comfort.

We finally went to Key Largo for lunch yesterday, must have been around low 40's, and yes, we saw iguanas falling from palm trees.
FLAKM, we got a picture from my wife's ex-secretary, she lives a tad north of Orlando, her little garden fountain was frozen with icicles and her lawn was all iced up.

I got a couple of coffee trees on my yard (it's a long story as to why) and some of the leaves got burned Saturday night so yesterday I had to cover them

                      It's been cold.

Snow blowing the driveway and clearing access to outbuildings is easily a 2-hour job. Deciding WHEN to begin involves epic-level planning and decision making.

                        - Start too early while the snow it falling and you have to repeat the process.
                        - Start too late and delivery vehicles pass you by and snow gets compacted.

And I thought retirement would be easy!
