    GREEETA WHERE ARE YOU?

    Did it snow in Florida?

Several National Weather Service offices around the state confirmed snow flurries were reported in several locations over the weekend, even as far south as Naples.

If you see a frozen iguana 'stop' its still alive. Bring it in your home or a warm place it will live. They can be eaten or kept as pets for the kids.

Daughter had ice on her car this morning.

22° last week here and today hit 79°. I'm not complaining, I'll just be glad when the temps stay in the 70s & 80s during the day.

They folks south of the border eat them every time they catch one.

              I quote:

Grilled iguana, often called "chicken of the trees," is
a protein-rich delicacy common in Central/South America and Florida, known for a taste similar to chicken or alligator with a crab-like texture. It is best prepared by cleaning, skinning, and blanching the meat before marinating and grilling over medium heat until it reaches an internal temperature of 165deg
              .

.Florida? not in my house, I shoot them and throw them away. IMG_9075.jpgThis guy was sunning next to my pool.

Florida and Arizona us old buggers move to Merc. They bring their retirement money with them and the criminals know that and follow suit. Gun friendly Florida has 4 great things. Beaches, banks, shopping centers and great hospitals.. Vets also head down for the warm weather. That is why our V.A. hospitals are over filled and overworked with vets. Up north some V.A.s are 1/2 full.

Hint: There is no crime in Sanibel Island. I get the weekly police reports. Only drunk drivers. Only one way in and out of the island and they take a picture of your car.
