Ever feel burnt out?( rant feel free to skip)

End of last year, beginning of this year has been rough.

Lost a good friend Christmas week, same week found out my grandfather has stage 4 kidney cancer and is now on hospice. 2 weeks ago my grandmother ( other side of family) had a massive stroke and passed. My father in law has been in and out of the hospital for several months for who knows what but my wife is really stressed over it.

My younger son broke his tooth off back in October, but because it’s below the gum line he needs surgery to fix it and anesthesia. Surgery was supposed to be today. Because the anesthesia department waited until this week to review his chart they canceled it due to other issues. We got cleared for those medical issues in 24 hours from his neurologist and pulmonologist. But because his procedure was canceled we have to wait until May. If they reviewed his chart at any point before this week.

Frustrated, tired, and just burnt out.

    Apologies for the rant.

Yeah, things get rough sometimes. Ploughing through it in spite of it all is what separates the Men from the boys. There's something to be said for Stoicism.

"When it rains it pours" the saying goes, Prioritize: son comes first, everything else is second to that. We all die as we get old, it's a biological fact, so parents and grandparents normally die before we do and there is nothing you can do about that right? so why worry? Worry about you, your wife and kids and not precisely in that order.

I am sorry for your issues. I am so burned out all I want to do is move to the high desert in Nevada, buy a house backing up to blm land with no one around me for miles and just wait until the grim reaper shows up. But then I think about all of my blessings that far exceed my problems. One thing that keeps me going is that people rely on me. It is tiring but at the same time gives me purpose.

Fountain of Yutes is up north of me by my buddy RTO in St. Augustine. I has to see exactly where it is?

Fountain of youth water doesn't work, I can attest to that, it also tastes like shit.

                        Here ya go Buddy :https://www.fountainofyouthflorida.com/visit/
It's about half a mile north of the Castillo de San Marcos. I go there a couple of times a year to get a sip or two. It works wonders on my figure and complexion then I have to go into reclusion or face the consequences of hoards of women chasing after me. As Fred mentioned it doesn't taste good, kinda like triple sulfur water.
