JUst bought a new circular saw.

My 50 year old Black and Decker seems to have found a permanent home at the island place and even if I don't use one every day I like to have every tool I may need at hand so I don't have to run out and buy one when I need it. Anyhow, bought a Makita 5007, I like their tools, own a lot of them, well made and last a long time, easy to repair and everything,

Just going through the manual I read this "Warranty not valid in Mexico"

What do mehicans do with them tools that they carry no warranty?

Makita is assuming that they're probably all stolen and the warranty is not transferable.

I find that I'm using my DeWalt cordless circular saw more than my corded ones. If I have a big project, sure, I'll go with the corded ones. But, most of the things I do lately are 1 or 2 cuts and done - plenty for 1 battery.

I have a Milwaukee circular saw. But I usually use my shop machines to cut boards.

I have a Milwaukee drill and driver combo in Sanibel, a Makita here at home . Some stuff I can do battery but a circular saw, a grinder, demolition hammer, I mean those use a lot of power and I hate to run out of battery while working on something. I have to admit the new Lithium batteries are good.

Last year while building my chicken coop, I replaced the blade on my circular saw with a high-quality Dewalt blade. After ripping through a piece of 3/4" plywood, I was very disappointed in the Dewalt blade. It was worse than the 20-year-old POS blade I'd just replaced. I walked in the house all pissed off and told my wife "That Dewalt blade sucks! It doesn't cut worth crap!" She responded "Did you install the blade the right direction?" 😖 Busted!

Oh boy, here we go... It might have happened to me at some time if I remember .. not paying attention to what you do.
