    Now I know why it took Michelangelo so long to paint the Sistine Chapel.

    I guess they didn't like his first version, so he had to go back and re-do it.

    They built scaffolding for him to get to the ceiling and he did the whole painting laying on his back essentially upside down. Pictures don't work seeing the chapel in person is beyond incredible you can't imagine a human could do what Michelangelo did.

      Too bad those Swiss guys in strange clothes and pointy hats move you out faster than you can admire the whole thing.
