    Winter Oympics

Curling starts Wednesday. It's the best Olympics event ever.

    BTW, happy Groundhog Day everyone.

I don't know, seems Texas has the curling event figured out by using cars and trucks on the ice, instead of big rocks.

Yoopers do that on ice in Michigan. Not on the Great Lakes, but on smaller lakes.

        It's Groundhog Day … again.

Groundhog Day 2026: Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, predicting 6 more weeks of winter

Pogo damn thanks for reminding me. I watched them dragging Phil out of that nice warm nest for the last God knows how many years. I was on the phone with the V.A. and damn it missed it.
Last year was great Phil sunk his fangs in the jerks hand doing the yanking and he screamed like a damn little girl. Anyways 6 more weeks of winter. Thanks Phil go back to sleep.. Bear.jpg

Ice hockey I would guess Fred? I want to watch the replay of that game.
I like the figure skating hot chicks skating around in their underwear. Skiing events are great Norway for many years was the kings of the sport.

Stein Eriksen Lodge one nights lodging with breakfast.

            Park City Utah..
            $1,676 nightly 'plus fees'
The current price is $2,113 total

            Stein Eriksen Lodge

Only 5 rooms left if anyone wants to book.
That is just the room now for 1 nights stay. Now well over a thousand $$ for equipment per person or more way more. Up to $300 per person for a lift ticket on weekends.
Skiing is a rich mans sport the only way I was able to afford it was working for the ski area in my younger days. Work their ski free.

How in God’s name did curling ever become an Olympic sport? I had never heard of nor seen it until one day they were showing it on the Olympics.

All I’m saying is if it’s not a sport commonly played in America it’s not a sport and has no place in the Olympics.

And no, frozen subdivisions of Canada located in Minnesota and Michigan don’t count.

I don't think I've watched the Olympics since 1980. If I have, it wasn't with interest. Same as with the Souper Bowel. I don't even know who is playing in it, or where it is being held this year.
