WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump shared a clip of former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama appearing as apes in a late-night Truth Social post on Feb. 5 before taking it down the following day amid bipartisan pushback.

The roughly minute-long video centered on footage discussing unsubstantiated voter fraud allegations in the 2020 presidential election before briefly flipping to the clip of the Obamas.

The image of the Obamas, which appeared to have been generated by artificial intelligence, showed the bodies of two apes whose faces have been replaced by that of the former president and first lady. They appeared to be in a jungle with apes flying in the background.

Whether Trump did that or one of his aides or his kids I believe that he needs to calm down. He talks too much, rambles saying the same thing over and over and it's hard for me to listen to him anymore. I like what he has done so far for the country but I don't like his bragging and putting his name everywhere.

I am racist to some extent and I dislike the former president and former first lady for all the damage they caused while in office, however, that was out of line. No president or person handling the presidential social media account should ever do such a thing, it's in really bad taste and totally out of line with the presidential protocol.
