Food was really shitty, open bar all the time, I just had two cups of wine, DJ....well...anything from Greek to old Cuban music, too loud for my taste, my daughter saw some guy on the bride's family shooting cocaine up his nose...no wonder he was jumping around like a freaking monkey when the music started. Zorba the Greek came on, and big circle of folks dancing to it, a whole bunch of dished thrown in the center, the the bride's father came and started throwing dollar bills into the pile of broken dishes...I don't know the meaning but it stayed there, some girl with flowers on her hair and dressed in white dancing right on top of them and people singing in Greek. I just Stood there and yelled Opa. Opa., we left before it was over, I thanked the Greek guy for having us there and left, very family oriented folks, people came all the way from France, Greece, Ohio and Texas for the wedding.
I survived a Greek-Cuban American wedding.

I had no choice, it was my nephew's wedding, it's not the kid's (40 yo) fault his dad is an asshole. We had to rent a hotel in the Keys, I wasn't going to drive two hours on the most dangerous road in the state in the middle of the night., shit place with 150% humidity but it was clean at least.Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.Comment
I don't like weddings or funerals and only go when my wife drags me to one.
