I have a cousin who is a judge, he started out as a cop, raised to Lieutenant, already had a couple of college degrees before joining the force, then decided to go to law school, became a lawyer, worked as a lawyer in the internal affairs division for a while, became a DA down here, decided to move to Ohio in private practice, came back to Miami, decided to run for circuit judge, became a criminal judge, treated people so bad that he was moved to probate court. He's still there.
