Russia killed opposition leader Alexei Navalny using dart frog toxin, UK says

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was killed using a poison developed from a dart frog toxin, the UK and European allies have said.

Two years on from the death of Navalny at a Siberian penal colony, Britain and its allies have blamed the Kremlin following analysis of material samples found on his body.

Speaking from the Munich Security Conference, Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said "only the Russian government had the means, motive and opportunity" to use the poison while Navalny was imprisoned in Russia.

All natural product harvested from a renewable resource. Sounds like the Russians have a very evo-friendly method of murder.

What are the liberals complaining about?

The dude was in a Siberian prison camp and someone felt the need to surreptitiously poison him? Weird.

I think you have it backwards. The poison is a protective secretion on the frog’s skin. The victim would have to bite the frog to become poisoned. (Or have a KGB agent make a delivery of sorts) I don’t even think frogs have teeth, do they?

If something is poisonous, the victim has to get the poison into his system somehow (usually by eating it). Hence, some frogs are poisonous, mushrooms can be poisonous, etc. Snakes and spiders are NOT poisonous. They are venomous, they have to inject their toxin into you.

They've done stuff like that in the past, it's their favorite way of killing someone in public and not being seen. Stay away from Russians walking around with a walking cane.
