The single biggest accomplishment of Jackson's life, the one thing he referenced almost any time he spoke, was that "I was standing with Reverend King on the balcony when he was assassinated." Well, good news for Mr Jackson is he can once again be standing with Reverend King. Bad news is the location is a balcony in Hell.

STG44 - I've seen some of those photos too. It's hard to tell who was down in the parking lot. I know I've heard Jackson say on more than one occasion that he was standing beside King, but it's not like you can trust a damn thing that ever came out of his mouth.

Lots of questionable events around that day. Because of security concerns King had actually reserved another room, one that did not have a direct line of sight to the street. Somebody in King's group called and switched the reservation back to the regular room. That placed King in the room that could be viewed from the boarding house (down in the bushes where the actual killer was). Some have speculated that the person on the ground, who King was talking to, inadvertently presented the shooter with a perfect opportunity for a clean shot at King. He was forward of the entourage, and leaning out over the balcony to better talk with the person on the ground.

There are also a few who wonder, could the person on the ground have been the one who changed the hotel reservation?

The Le France family of Daytona 'NASCAR' are probably some of the most charity oriented people one could meet. Well Jessie the extortionist came here some years back to bitch about no Negro race car drivers he was going to start a boycott. Whoops bad move Jessie.
