    Happy .308 Day!

    It is March 8 - 3/08 Day!

The cartels on the Border don't like seeing Americans with their .308s.

Can't leave the FAL out of the festivities!

Well, I did get him that job he did on the Border with one of my clients.

Rew was a lot of fun to hang out with. May he RIP.

          "Caliber 7.62mm full metal jacket."

My M-14 is a TRW. I have a semi auto M14 I built on an Armscorp receiver in a laminated Reinhardt Fadjen(sp?) stock. It has served me well at several National Match competitions and local shoots. Now, I'm going to mount a $$$ scope on it to create a "varmint rifle." My days of NM competition shooting are in the past sadly. Years ago I sold my Belgian FNFAL with the fixed stock ( ). I still have the one with the side folding para stock. I have an ACOG mounted on it. Its very handy.

A couple Imbel rebuilds on Imbel semi-auto recievers. the upper one has new furniture, Hi-Temp BBQ paint and a Austrian Stoll flashhider... My sons truck gun, it's had around 600 rounds put through it since rebuild.

Saying they are nice is an understatement.

.308 is a great round. On opening day of deer season I literally stumbled upon a group of does after walking back from my deer blind. I shot the closest one with my cheap Ruger American .308 at a range of only 50 meters. It went down like a ton of bricks. The animal felt no pain and was dead before it hit the ground. I was stunned by the power of this round. I won't hunt with any other rifle round.
