Actor Jesse Ventura Ripped For Calling For Barron Trump To Enlist In Military

Jesse Ventura has publicly called out Barron Trump, urging him to consider enlisting in the military.

The former Navy SEAL made the remark in light of the United States’ ongoing military involvement tied to Iran, with recent reports also suggesting that thousands of additional troops could soon be deployed to the Middle East.

I'm no fan of Jesse but I believe that all Americans of legal age in good health should spend time in the military. Especially politician's offspring. My father retired as a Navy CPO after serving during WWII in the Pacific, Korea and the Bay of Pigs so I learned discipline and self control at an early age.
I benefited from my experience in the military for life so far.

I like Barron Trump. He seems classy, intelligent and ballsy all at once. My favorite example is during inauguration. Barron leaned over to Joe Biden and whispered something in his ear that made him wake up and take notice. The fact that Barron is taking some heat from Hollywood tells me he must be doing something right.

On one hand there was a time when politicians typically were vets, and a decent percentage of their sons did enlist. I would like to see us get back to that.

On the other hand, and those of you who have served please confirm or deny this, but I've been told that highly intelligent people tend to get put into rolls where their brains do the work. The type of job that's not as likely to see combat up close and personal.

So it becomes a no-win for Baron. He joins, but with a genius level IQ he gets assigned to work doing analytics or some other support type roll. Then come the accusations that his name and connections kept him out of combat rolls.
