Its that time of year. If you have a generator, make sure you have some fuel on standby. Best of luck to you sir.

I hope that it's just warnings and they don't develop.

        Be careful, good luck.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

Now a tornado scares the hell out of me. Never have even seen one but the thought of one coming my way gives me chills. Hurricanes worry me a bit but just the thought of that damn tornado is not good.

We've got liberals. We've got meth-heads in droves. We've got legal weed and all the pot smokers to go with it.

But we don't got no God Damn tornadoes! Very unlikely I'll ever live where I have to worry about the wind just going ape-shit and killing things.

Be careful Gimpy them damn things can pop up anywhere. Some years back we had one in Connecticut a few towns over from my old family home. Tore things up pretty damn good.
Hurricane Andrew south Florida down aviators way. Andrew goes through and literally levels everything and I mean everything in its path. But? Now the news shows pictures of a few neighborhoods like totally gone with 2 or 3 houses barely touched. They could not figure out why this was? Bingo some weatherman figures it out.
It wasn't the hurricane leveled the hood oh it damaged the hell out of it. It was hundreds of tornadoes near the hurricanes center traveling along with the storm that did the leveling. Tornadoes quite simply missed those few homes.

I'm still here. My power went off for a few hours about 11pm. I didn't bother starting my generator. I went to bed. Power back on this morning.

Too many hills and mountains around here. It breaks up the air flow, so tornadoes have a hard time touching down. There have been 2 “tornadoes” that I can remember touching down in the Willamette Valley in my entire lifetime.

1 took a few shingles off 3 roofs.

                  1 knocked over a porta-potty.

I like my odds vs those types of tornadoes.
