I'm in pretty good shape. I exercise and eat about anything I want, but in moderation.
I still remember the world before fatties

Retatrutide. It is a game changer. Cures many cases of diabetes, moderates appetite, burns fat, increases metabolism. Nothing is more powerful for weight loss. In fact, Reta will reduce weight more than abject starvation will over extended periods of time. All while eating enough protein and very modest carbs to be satisfied.
Other than a 100X overdose on Reta which can land one in the hospital. Reta has proven through human trials of more than 9000 people, to be a game changer with regard to health improvements. No deaths other than one drowning by a person who could not swim. Those on high doses do drop out of the trials from side effects. But modest doses have minimal or no side effects.
I have now lost 65 pounds on Reta, and I am 2 pounds from my goal weight. Dose 2mg, 3, 4 then 5mg. That's it. Not 8 or 12mg or some such nonsense. No dieting, no excessive workouts. Just protein based meals. Hell, I had pulled pork for breakfast, yes with BBQ sauce! Just no bread. Holy hell that was good.
As soon as I reach my goal, I will adjust the dose to maintain my weight. My Endocrinologist loves Reta and is looking forward to prescribing it when it becomes available as a prescription here. I purchase from an online firm called 'the pep lair (all one word) dot com". I pay with cashapp. Easy and fast.

I wonder if that's the stuff my sister is taking. I know she gets it grey-market or black market. She's lost over 40 lbs and her husband, who didn't need to take it, has been taking something like a half dose and says his knees and arthritis are feeling better.Retatrutide. It is a game changer. It's just another GLP-1 drug by the same manufacturer as Zepbound. I am very careful with drugs that work on reducing glucose, the cardiologist gave me one (Jardiance) he said would be good for my heart and it sent me to the hospital with a Urinary Tract Infection, real bad. Be careful though, some are compounds and have different and adverse effects. I am not diabetic, actually just had a whole blood work done, and I am just low in red blood cells, no glucose, no infections, good PSA, lungs are clear heart sounds god e/f rate is below normal at 45 minimum should be 50 but heart suffers when they stop it and jump start it again, so it's OK. I will live a few more years, I guess so I need to lose weight again. That surgery threw me off my tracks, can't even do the same exercise I used to.Retatrutide. It is a game changer. I’m very hesitant on the GLP-1 drugs.
My wife, stepfather and several co workers have lost a lot of weight using these shots, call it an easy button.
I don’t trust easy buttons. I want my weight loss to be easy, God it would be great if it was, but call me crazy, paranoid or just plain dumb. I want to do it by managing my diet and exercising.
Guess I’m too old fashioned to know better.Comment

They do work, however, you need to adjust your eating habits and stick to them once you reach your goal. They are relatively safe unless you have thyroid issues or a family history of thyroid cancer.I’m very hesitant on the GLP-1 drugs.

I'm 62, normal weight and healthy. In years past, I had nothing but contempt for obese people. Now that my small circle of friends contains some obese people, I've dialed back my opinion. Just reading comments from Klauss makes me respect his situation. He takes full responsibility and blames no one but himself. With that sort of outlook, I'd bet money he could trim down.Comment

I have Hashimoto's, complete thyroid failure. I can't find any contraindications for the use of Retatrutide and Hashimoto's. I do have to take a bit more T3 hormone on Reta, as the increased metabolism does require about 10% more hormone.
Is it an 'Easy Button' as mentioned above? I'd say it is a god-send. But I'm likely a unique case with life threatening diseases that can be managed. But the side effects can't be managed. Prednisone and Hydrocortisone in the required high doses will make ya fat, drive blood sugar way up and destroy organs/bones/skin/muscles and heart. It also severely shortens lifespan. Period end of story. Retatrutide has been an antidote.
As I mentioned, strict OMAD/Carnivore was able to get me to 220 pounds. Zero energy, sleep all day is no way to live. Let's face it, some of us have severe problems that require hard core pharmaceuticals with terrible side effects. And one cannot diet and exercise their way out of it. As a former athlete I know exactly how to be focused and dedicated. Fixes nothing.

I was going to start on the shot but recently found out I'm very anemic, not loosing blood, just not making enough, something is out of balance, so I'm on Vitamin D, B-12 and Iron supplements, I'm not willing to complicate things just to lose weight, at my age things can get complicated and remember I already have a bovine valve in my heart and other tubes going in and out of it so I'm not playing games. Doctor called me yesterday to give me the lab results, he was pissed. Yeah My daughter already got them and she prescribed....this and that. told me to call you back in 90 days for another blood test.Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.Comment
