Just speculating here but a woman being interviewed that was at the press dinner claimed she witnessed this guy taking something out of a big canvas types bag? Which I guess turned out to be the shotgun? Maybe he pre planted it in the hotel? News is claiming he had a pistol and knives in his possession?
My opinion is the whole frigging U.S. Secret Service needs a good house cleaning and some new people who know what the hell their doing and know how to do security should step in. Every room in the vicinity of this dinner event should have been checked and cleared AND kept and eye on after clearing it.
