8 already? WTH?

Little man turned 8 over the weekend. Dam time moves fast, oldest turns 18 in a few months.

Does this mean I’m getting old?

Happy Birthday little man. Even my G-kids are in their late teen and early 20s. I turned 76 recently. My doc told me that I am a young 76 though.

Thanks guys, he challenged me to a chess game over the weekend. I guess he took it upon himself to try and learn how to play.

He’s making slow but steady progress with his speech, although I have a fight with the school coming up over class placement, etc. UGH.

My oldest just turned 44 this month, his brother will be 43 in June and baby girl 26 in November. Freaking calendar only stops once in a life time.

Hang in there Snake. You sound like you accomplished a lot when you were young. It's NOT too late to turn things around bro.

I'm in a better place now at age 70 than I was at 50, both physically and mentally.

Mine are all grown up and my daughter is the last to leave--getting married in January. One granddaughter now. When I look at them or think of them they are still 5 years old in my mind. I don't care what happens to me I just hope they all have an awesome life with no regrets and do not face the difficulties I have faced.

That's a good enough reason. I saw my cardiologist last week, he said I'm OK, I'm seeing my regular doctor this week. They all want to make sure I don't die without them knowing about it I guess. If I make it nine more years I'm happy. I don't plan for the future anymore. Wife was given an avocado tree, she loves avocados, "here, plant it at the island place"....why? I'm not going to see it bear fruit.
