A suspect began shooting Saturday evening at a security booth outside the White House where U.S. Secret Service officers were on guard inside, two sources familiar with the matter told CBS News.
The sources said that somewhere between 10 and 20 shots were fired.

Secret Service officers returned gunfire, wounding the suspect, the sources said, and a bystander was also apparently injured.

Some day historians will try to pinpoint exactly when the 2nd Civil War started. My guess is around 2020 when the election was stolen. Right now one side is fighting, the other side is trying to pretend everything is still OK.

While a motive for the attack hasn’t been confirmed, sources said Best is a mentally troubled individual who believed he was Jesus Christ and is known to the Secret Service and has violated a pervious court order to stay away from the White House.

I agree with that. Except we should do a complete production out of it, with proper lights and cameras, and folks applauding, on live TV all over the country. That way the next sob who thinks of doing this will think about it twice, maybe three times. I'm getting tired of this nonsense.
