I looked around in Harbor Freight today

Seems like I never leave that store with empty hands. I bought a powder coating gun and some black powder. Now I have to get an oven.

This will be perfect for some of my small jeep parts.

I bought heavy-duty towing straps, chains, and hand winches from Harbor Freight years ago. They're invaluable for taking down large trees. The winches eventually fail over time but the chains and towing straps are bullet-proof. It's still way cheaper and more convenient than a tree service.

There's definitely a lot of cool stuff at Harbor Freight. I can get "lost" wandering the aisles. Kinda like my wife at the shoe outlet!

The worse thing that HB did was put shopping carts in the stores. i used to go in there with certain items to buy that I could carry. Sometimes now I go in there, grab a cart and browse the store.

My son is getting married, moving out to an apartment near by. After the 3rd or 4th time he borrowed a bunch of my tools to assemble some Ikea shit I hauled him down to Harbor Freight and bought him $500 worth of basic tools and a bag to keep them in.

Northern Tool and Harbor Freight are my favorite stores. Last time I was in HF I got a lot of plastic heavy duty ammo boxes on sale, I took whatever they had left. Bought a small cheap $200) compressor to take to the island place, like 10 gal, on wheels, it's great, we don't have a tire place there.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

Back in 2004 when I first started building AK kits when they were cheap, Harbor Freight was the go to place for hydraulic presses, mini mills, some tooling. Harbor Freight was also great to buy tools for work that we knew would get destroyed in frequent contact with nasty chemicals, buy several & throw them away when the job is completed.

The quality of their merchandise is better now than it was then, but it is still cheap tooling not meant to last a lifetime.

I bought their buyers club, paid for itself with my first purchase of an offroad jack.
