Blue Origin rocket explodes on launch pad in Florida

A Blue Origin New Glenn rocket exploded Thursday night on a launch pad at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

The explosion occurred at about 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Blue Origin said there were no injuries from the incident.

"We experienced an anomaly during today's hotfire test," Blue Origin said in a statement.
Blue Origin, which is owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, was gearing up for a June launch to put a batch of Amazon "Leo" internet satellites into orbit.

Yeah, those anomalies can be hell.

Looks really bad. I guess I could have seen the light from here.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

Those orange-headed lizards probably crawled up inside it and messed it up.

RTO yes sir that is about an hour south of me here down at the space center. So much crap heading to the heavens I don't even bother watching anymore. But damn that was a bigun. They don't care about the rocket its the damage to the launch pad I guess their worried about? A number of the retired employees from the space center live here.
Fighter jocks from the military that fly over us on the way to the bombing range just to our west also bought here. They must look down and see the little town in the forest and come check it out..

I guess this is bad and it is hurting one of my stocks, but rockets blowing up is just part of the equation. The question is will Blue Origin over come it? Considering the money that is going to be made in commercial space flight they will. For my stock I sincerely hope so.
