Oh crap, Trump is killing the island.

"The Spanish hotel operator Iberostar said it would end its partnership to run 12 hotels for Gaviota, Cuba’s tourism company, which is part of the Business Administration Group, a military conglomerate known by its Spanish acronym, GAESA. Another Spanish firm, Meliá, said it would withdraw from its partnership running 15 Cuban hotels. Blue Diamond, a Canadian company that ran dozens of hotels in Cuba, also announced that it was pulling out Citing an announcement from the company, news reports said the Indonesian chain Archipelago International had also closed shop. The website for the company’s Aston Hotels in Cuba showed they were “no longer available for accommodation.”"

Quoted from NYT. That's the end of whatever tourism they had, I personally can't understand why anyone would go there other than to see images of Che Gevara and kiss Castro's ass. Whatever influx or Euros they had is gone now.

Karen Bass went there on a few occasions for communist training (not kidding). I guess there’s a tourism market for that.

Cuba will be a destination resort once Trumps done. Same deal with the Gaza strip. Make money not war is a very solid way of thinking.

I don't go out much, I don't watch Spanish news and my area of operations is outside the Cuban area. And the Cubans I mingle with are just like me.

I spoke to a lawyer today whom I haven't seen in 27 years, a Harvard graduate and he asked me, he still has some family left in the island. I told him I really don't care as long as my tax money is not used to rebuild what the commies destroyed, but I find very interesting what Trump has done, he chased all international businesses out.

So why can't Europe save Cuba with its vast "superior ideology" and "wealth"? I mean after all, it has been preached to me my whole life that the US is a violent backward not real country stolen from natives in an imminent state of collapse. OH wait its only because of the Zionist petro-dollar military industrial complex free mason conspiracy--yea that's it. Step up Europe you have no embargo. Maybe Germany can send oil it doesn't have to Cuba.

Europe cannot afford Cuba. The economy there is not doing well and it's too far for them, otherwise Spain would have kept it. Remember the US GDP is ten Trillion Dollars more than all of Euro countries together.

The Cuban people would love it if Trump took over the island. But I don't see any benefit for Americans.

No, of course not, it's going to cost us a lot. Maybe move the sugar plantations from the Everglades to there if you can get the Fanjul family to do it. That will help restore our ecosystem here. All that Red Tide we get on the west coast that kills fish by the thousands is because the run off of fertilizers they use. which yeah it also feeds the algae. That's would be the only thing and the soil there is much better for sugar cane.

Those red tides are nasty. I was in Fort Walton a few years back and could not believe the stench and the amount of dead fish. I had no idea it was caused by sugar plantations. I did not even know we still had those. I thought all the sugar came from beets.

There is an area just west of West Palm Beach, thousands of acres of sugar cane plantation. The Fanjul family controls it and it's right by lake Okeechobee which is the biggest water hole in the state , it runs off to the west , it also feeds water all the way to us, the fertilizer used also feeds the algae that is responsible for Red Tide, even if it's a normal natural occurrence, the feed gives it a boost. When it hits all that area of SW Florida suffers and the airborne particles will affect people with respiratory issues too. It's bad. Dead fish all over, even dolphins. The Fanjul family was the largest sugar field and processing company in Cuba before Castro, they left with a lot of money, they set camp in Florida and Dominican Republic. I Have flown over their fields in Florida, very large operation, I've also been driven in Dominican Republic through their fields. Florida Crystals, Domino Sugar are theirs, they also built a resort in Dominican Republic called Casa del Campo which mimics an Italian village and is nested in a waterfront area surrounded by their fields. Multi billion dollar folks.

Looks like that's not all he's killing
                        Spreading the joy:

One of the top leaders of Tren de Aragua, a cartel and US-designated terrorist organization, has been killed in a US military strike, President Donald Trump said Friday.
