    Medicare/Insurance fraud

I have a female neighbor, she's a widow and lives by herself, not the brightest bulb in the box and I think she has some sort of Attention Deficit Disorder, She used to babysit my daughter years ago, we are very close, she's 77 years old and all messed up. Some nurse comes to see her three times a week to check her blood glucose level, she calls me, "IS 97 ok, iS 79 ok?. Hey, you are not even pre-diabetic, why are they doing this? The nurse says the doctor ordered. The other day the nurse called her, "go ahead and have your breakfast I'm running late" Yes but if I eat then it's going to show higher..."yes, yes, I know, that way I keep my job" WTF? I've told her to tell the "nurse" not to come anymore.

Like the stupid nurse I got when I got home from my heart surgery, an older woman, hispanic, "I'm not here to do anything to you today, just to touch bases and I will be back some other day" in the meantime I have three open holes with shit still coming out and a foot long cut down my chest that is not 100% healed yet and you are not going to even change the bandages? Thank God right at that time my daughter walked in, still in her nurse uniform..."Lady, you don't have to come back at all, that's my daughter, she is a nurse in an operating room, she'll take care of me, thank you and good bye". A week later I got a call from a male nurse who wanted to see me....."So what are you going to do? Well to take your vitals....no shit, thanks, I can do that myself. No one ever called me again. No one cared about the wounds, they just wanted to come and do nothing, get paid. I'm sorry, I cannot accept that.

Fred you frigging nailed it. If the American taxpayer knew the fraud being perpetuated on their wallets with all the medical scams their would be a revolution. Hospice? Some may have had good experiences I will not argue with that. My experience with them? It went from and incredible end of life savior to an end of life scam of the century.
Former girlfriend on her way to see Jesus. Every and I mean every Hospice rep coming here wanted MY name rank and serial number and the girls information. Not ONE nurse went in to see if she was even in my house. Sit at my kitchen table take notes and leave that's it. I finally told them literally to GET THE F%$%K out and don't come back. They got the hint.
I hired private nurses to take care of her.

    Does Hospice receive federal funding?

Yes, hospice receives massive federal funding, primarily through the Medicare Hospice Benefit, which covers up to 100% of care for eligible patients. While hospices are often private organizations, they receive the vast majority of their revenue as federal reimbursements for providing end-of-life

Hospice is big business, They came to see me about my mother, telling me wonderful things they did, they were late though, she died that night. No business. My daughter did a cyclical rotation in one, she said people were taken there with hours left to live, those that went in in the morning were gone by the next day when she got there.

After my wife’s last hospital stay a FNP

would come and see her about once a

week, to keep her from having to go to

see a doctor…This little girl would stay

an talk to her for hours, the normal

time was supposed to be 30 minutes

or less…she still checks on me occasionally

I think she went above and beyond what

her job called for…But she was exceptional

        and not the usual kind…

        And was not Hospice

Down here medicare fraud is rampant. There is a private clinic every few blocks, then big hospitals got into the action and have emergency centers every couple miles. Medical service is a big businesses, medical supplies is another big business. W@hen my son came home after his back surgery and being paraplegic, they sent all sort of stuff to my house, a crane lift, which we never used, a hospital bed that was so uncomfortable for a 6'6" 300 lb man that we returned the first week, went out and just bought one for him. His wheelchair (still in my garage) was over $20K and it was so big and heavy we couldn't take it anywhere so we also went out and bought one that you could fold down and get in the car. Waste of money all over the place.

Living out in the Nat. Forest and swamps and 210 miles round trip to the Gainesville V.A. they let me use private medical Drs. and facilities. Few weeks I get my 4th hip replacement and the Dr. is a great guy does reconstructive hip replacement which not many do. Even was nice enough to tell me he may kill me as their is a high danger of infection.
So I go to dermatology to treat pre cancerous spots on my Irish skin. First person I see is a frigging Haitian chick with a magic marker. I can't stand Haitians but this chick was nice. Now if they burn the spot off its $50 if they put the knife to it its $1,250. She takes her magic wand and does a couple of circles around 2 spots. Next stop surgery. O.K. I can live with that.
3 weeks later back and Miss magic marker is drawing more circles. Week waiting for more surgery and the spots 'clear up' like gone nada nothing their. I told them they ain't cutting. Holy sheet the whole office is calling me 'Your gonna die.'. Big argument I finally told them to F$%K off. America has some of the best medical services in the world but it is super super ripe to rip off the taxpayers which in turn causes our medical insurance to be sky frigging high.
