    Good Day at the Range

My step son treated me to a day at the range today for father's day. Weather was perfect mid 70s with a little breeze. Did pretty good for needing cataract surgery. Rifle is a Stag lower I built with a CMC 3.5# trigger and a DelTon 20" upper with a CL 1:9 twist barrel. Rifle gas and buffer. 1-6 LPVO. Ran the Lake City surplus M855 green tips. Smooth as silk. Point and click. Maybe my favorite rifle. Then we grabbed a burger and beer after. Good day. IMG_3259.jpg

      Indeed...however I haven't worked in years.

Nice day. Go get your eyes fixed, it's nothing.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

I have an appointment. Earliest opening is October. Everyone I speak to that has had it echoes your sentiments. Vast quality of life improvement and low rate of complications. I am a little anxious but warming to the idea.

You won't have to stand as close to the target either

I agree! Every day should be a range day!

It was hot on our range today, with a pretty good heat mirage. Still managed to keep them under 2" at 200 yds.

Don't even think about it, by the next day when you start seeing you'll be so happy and amazed you'll want to get the other eye done too as soon as possible. Surgery is 10 minutes, and you don't feel a thing. You'lll have a choice of lenses. mine are fixed from 3 feet to infinity so I use reading glasses.

I always like to wear black Sketchers when I'm at the range, too.
Sounds like a very good day amigo.

Good range day. Mine went very well. Managed to zero 5 rifles with only a small amount of ammo. I did get a workout walking back and forth to the target. My spotting scope isn't great

Range day is always a good day. Shame it’s so hard to find the time anymore.

my son and I went on the 5 year anniversary of my father passing a couple weeks ago.

Had an awesome time with an embarrassing moment thrown in.
