    Venezuela is shaking,

Major earthquake, hundreds of people dead so far, thousands missing, it was big and bad.
First news conference of the acting president (forgot her name but she was the VP for Maduro) in Spanish and the first words were : "I want to thank President Trump and the United States for all the help they are sending".

How fast things change when we kick ass.

You bet buddy like the millions $$ she pocketed from her fake charity when Haiti got blasted from a storm. Hildebeasts daughter was president or some damn thing for the charity. Mom must have showed her how to skim the bucks.
The recent storm that devastated the Carolinas had NO money for the people. The Dumbocrats used the entire FEMA budget for the ILLEGALS sneaking into our country. The govt. even booted Musk and his 'Star Link communications' out as they did not want people to see that the Dumbocrats were not helping Dem..
My lineman buddy was their and he was letting the people use their company communication equipment to make calls. My prayers for those poor souls in Venezuela..

Reports are saying it was two earthquakes one right after the other. Both very strong with the second one being much stronger than the first. Their onsets were separated by just 39 seconds.

What to know about ‘doublet’ earthquakes like the destructive pair that hit Venezuela
The twin earthquakes occurred in a complex fault system that had most likely been accumulating stress for more than two centuries, experts said.

Yes, I saw that yesterday, I thought they were talking aftershocks but no, they were two separate ones. It was really bad over there. There were a number of tremors within 24 hour period around the ring of fire area, in the Pacific. Japan had like a 6 pointer and Hawaii had one too, California. But Japan is always shaking. Something large moved down there big time.

Caracas is a major metropolitan city, before the commies tool over Venezuela was a very good place to live in. I have a few friends who lived there and married Venezuelan ladies, they are all here now. My brother lived there for four years as an engineer in charge of the maintenance team for a fleet of f-16 they bought from us, just about at the end of his contract things took a turn, he came for Christmas once and Chavez was with the group, his wife's uncle called him a communist and things got nasty over a bottle of rum. He didn't renew the contract and stayed back here. Chavez was the general in charge of the air force in Maracay and my brother lived in the American quarters with his family, all expenses paid by Pratt and Whitney. He loved the place.

Rescuers sifting through rubble left by collapsed buildings in Venezuela recorded a video showing that the structures were built with what appears to be Styrofoam.
A shocking video recorded by a Venezuelan rescuer shows the man easily pulling away chunks of the wall's internal material with nothing but his hands.

In the video, a man can be seen recording himself pulling away pieces of what appears to be collapsed walls with just his hand. The outside of the wall has a thin layer of concrete, while the inside is clearly Styrofoam or a similar material.

well it is a building material. Some of the fence posts that keep gators away at the island place rotted and fell so we dug new holes and used foam to hold the new posts in. When that stuff gets hard (within a few minutes) it's as hard as concrete. My son sprayed a new insulation foam they have now between the outside framing and the inside drywall, (houses near the water here have to be wood frame) and that's stuff is like a rock when it dries out. Foam blocks filled with cement have also been used here in the states, as long as they are tied with rebars they'll hold.
