People are dying in Europe from the heat wave. You know very few people have AC's there. The split units are becoming popular now.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

I read that 20% of the residences in Europe have A/C whereas 90% of the residences in the USA have A/C. No wonder that there are so many heat related deaths over there.
I'm dying here, I've been weed eating for an hour and a half this morning but it's only 89° so far today.

Stop before you get a heat stroke, dink water, Gatorade, lemonade, anything. I got stuck in Europe once in what they call an African Heat Wave in Innsbruck, Austria, of course there is no AC there, it's the place where they had the Winter Olympics, it's up north and pretty high up...and it was bad at night. I'm used to 71ºF sleeping time.

Get to drive a box truck this week with an A/C that works intermittently.

          Going to be fun.

Here in NE Illinois it's supposed to be in the mid to upper 90's all the coming week. I walk pretty much every day, summer or winter. Took a 25 minute stroll about an hour ago and didn't even break a sweat. Been hydrating with lots of water all day. Might crack a beer of glass of cold wine in another hour or so. A man cannot live on water alone. not Irish men any way.

It hit 92 degrees here in Michigan. I still got some outdoor work accomplished but took a lot of breaks in the AC.

On days like today, I think of last winter's 4' of snow on my cabin porch roof hoping it wouldn't cave in.

By the time I finished mowing and yard work today the temp had topped out at 99° and now it's cooled back down to 96°. I drank about a gallon of water and Gatorade in the process.

                  Somehow, it's America's fault the Europoors aren't running A/C?

If I stopped working outside because it was over 90 degrees, with saturating humidity levels; I'd be on my couch 9 months a year.

We live in a perpetual state of swamp ass
