Yup Fred and we all told yah he was going to be just fine and you would not listen to us. We have so many rocket scientists here its incredible.
All kidding aside we do get some great input on life in that big world out their. I see that we get a lot of hits from the outside with people reading the input posted on the DDB.. I wonder how many border line socialists and communists the crew here has converted?

The prior superintendent of schools gauged him well (It's the guy in trouble now at LA) he said upon my son becoming a High School Principal " Don't get too comfortable with this guy, he is going places". In twenty years he went from Chemistry teacher all the way to the top and now just took another big jump. Funny thing, Google's president wanted to talk to him too but it would probably required a lot of traveling and losing his state pension, which he keeps working for the college, and that one is good when you are a top earner.

Grandchildren too. My granddaughter starts High School this year and she is already taking college level courses online. Yes, she passed her college entrance exam this summer, my wife had the exam proctor check on her while she was doing it and the guy could not believe it. Talk about a super smart kid, she is one. In Kindergarten the teacher called the mother "Mrs Mateo, did you know your daughter knows how to read"...she learned by herself on a tablet that her mother got to keep her entertained with basic vocabulary words. Her brother is more of a hands on type, they ordered some chairs for their office and he was there , "Dad, let me have them, I'll put them together." He did, he's 9. Instructions..no I don't need that. They had to make a copper run to one of their projects, he jumped in the truck with his other grandfather and helped deliver the pipes. I guess he will be running the company some day.

Maybe good genes, maybe that immigrant need to excel rubbed on them, I don't know but I feel blessed.
