Alarm as Florida rushes to carry out ‘incredibly rare’ double execution

Florida is preparing on Tuesday to carry out the state's first double execution within a single day since the start of the modern era of the US death penalty in 1976.

Barring last-minute legal intervention, James Duckett, 68, is scheduled to die by lethal injection at noon on Tuesday at Florida state prison near Starke. Six hours later, Dominick Occhicone, 80, faces the same fate.
Rights groups condemn secrecy surrounding killings and say hurry to execute raises chance of ‘torturous’ deaths

I agree with the opposition that both men shouldn't be executed on the same day, today. They both should have been executed 30 years ago on the same day.
If either one survives this execution attempt he should be immediately marched over to "Ole Sparky" Flarda's electric chair for the finally. Yes, the same one that toasted ted bundy.

Only two? Come on, they can do better than that! Those are rookie numbers!

Alarm? why? They waited long enough to get it done. By the way, the doctor who used to certify deaths when we had the electric chair went to high school with me, he is now retired and writes mystery books.

Scumbags wasting our oxygen for too many decades. Public hangings need to make a comeback.

I knew a scumbag who killed a cop, it took them over 30 years to fry him.

Manuel Valle was a Florida death row inmate who was executed on September 28, 2011, after spending 33 years in prison for the 1978 murder of Coral Gables police officer Louis Pena. [1, 2, 3]
