I used to like visiting the Smithstonian. Not anymore.

I lived in DC as a kid for a few years. The Smithsonian was my favorite place there, we went there many times and the zoo.

Got a bit into the article and it was rather easy to figure what happened. Quite simply the Slow Joe 'Obama' Dumbocats tossed their theology into the museum. Same political party that is destroying our schools. Solution? P.T. needs to put a strong conservative into the place as director. Start cleaning out all those sex toys the Black Lives Don't Matter sheet and get it back to the incredible learning experience it was last time I visited.

This is not a new approach. This crap was going on in the early 60's, Had a class called modern problems, the teacher was a card carrying communist. Learned quite a bit later there was another one that was hiding in the wood work so to speak.

It really should be almost a must do on anyone's bucket list to visit the museums. If you have kids or grandkids please screw Disney's sheeet hole money draining rides and take them to the museum's. I use the plural as their is more than one museum to visit and it takes time you ain't doing the tour in a day.
Kids will get a better education visiting and seeing than 2yrs worth of our liberal public schools. I knew I liked the place when I walked into the 'Air and Space museum' and the 'Spirit of St. Louis' was hanging from the ceilings entryway. Museum of national history with Custers jacket full of holes and blood stains from the Little Bighorn. Robert E Lees horse stuffed behind glass.
boon mentioned the 'hidden stuff.' I watched a documentary on warehouses filled with items waiting to rotate in for visitors to see just not enough room for it all.

I was stationed at Ft Belvoir for 6 months. Nearly every weekend we were up in DC. In all the Fedral buildings except the white house. Slow walked through every exhibit in all the buildings of the Smithsonian. It was fucking amazing. Many trips to Arlington cemetary. Watching the snap pop/zip click of the old guard tomb soldiers left us in awe.
visiting the national archives and looking at the US Constitution....etc. WOW! THEN, DC was surrounded by a vast negro ghetto. It probably still is. Back then you could walk up and down the steps inside the Washington monument. The vandalism inside of the high relief wall carvings was sickning.
