#1 might do something in our AO, #2 will foul ball out and #3 will make a storm for the Carolinas. That's my predictions for now.

The one by the Carolinas is moving away though, The lower one may go into central America, it's too low, the orange one I'm concerned.

This should be an interesting storm season. I cannot speak for the entire state here but insurance for citizens home in my general A.O. is kind of going from a necessity to a luxury. With the 'Villages' mega million dollar senior retirement community on the verge of going belly up to locally here. You almost have to sell your guns your dog and your wife to afford or even get insurance.
Example of the Villages the insurance companies want customers to get a new roof and so many upgrades to your home $$$ to get a policy that homeowners are just leaving the key in the door and walking away. Roofers are jumping on the new rules and easily charging $30,000 and up way up.
A deadly hurricane season down here and Fla. is going to be loaded with abandoned homes and towns along our coast literally disappearing and turning back to nature.

My only big concern in the dumb golf cart in Sanibel and the Lithium battery, if it gets salt water in ...poof and it's parked under the house, it's a wooden house.... So if it comes this way I don't know, I have no ways of getting it out of there so I'll have to park it away from the house and just let $11K burn into smoke. even if I take the battery out and we get flooded the electronics will go to hell. I didn't want an electric one by son and wife insisted.

It's been raining here for two weeks. Flooding in low areas.

We have had some bad storms. In fact rain, thunder, lightning right now. Haven't lost power though.

HOA probably won't let you store it in a watertight shipping container, will they?

HOA...what's that? No, no HOA there, it's a free standing house in 3/4+acre double lot with what they call Sanibel River running behind the house, I actually own a piece of land on the other side of the water too but I'm not fighting the gators for it.

LOTS of rain here in NEO. Massive flooding in southern Ohio. Meat sent me images of Crooksville Ohio down below Zanesville. UNDER WATER. He said it took him five hous to drive from Zville to his home in York township..roads closed because of flooding.

We could use some of that rain, it hasn't been enough this year.

Rain just keeps going around my place. We are in the middle of our summer rainy season, and all I've gotten so far is spits and spittles. Just enough to make sure the cars stay spotted.

You could get a 10-12 ft. shipping container to store your golf cart in under your house. Lock it up when you leave and if you procure one with a straight door and good seals, it could withstand flooding. Anchor that bad boy down so it won't float up into the floor of the house above, though. You're boys can do it in a day or a weekend for you.

Teach your son-in-law how to work a paint brush and roller or an airless sprayers, and have him paint it for you to match the house.
