Why did Mike Tyson slap Jake Paul? Tyson's close friend says it was retaliation

A longtime friend of Mike Tyson said the boxer told him he slapped Jake Paul Thursday night because Paul stepped on his foot.

Video appears to show Paul briefly stepping on the front of Tyson’s right foot and quickly moving his foot back at the weigh-in for their Friday fight at AT&T Stadium. Tyson then slapped Paul across the face with his right hand and pointed toward the ground before the two men were pulled apart.

Well, now it's down to the wire for tonight. Tyson may run out of wind if the fight goes over 5 rounds. Tyson may win if he accidentally head butts Paul a few times or bites his ear off. I'm not making any bets on this one.

I still don't know if this fight is legit. I think both fighters are getting paid a million $$ regardless of the outcome. In his prime Tyson was one of the hardest-hitting heavyweights of all time, while JP has only fought low level palookas. If it's on the level... I think Iron Mike will destroy Paul.

Hell that is not that unusual as Mike Tyson used to slap people in the face just for asking for his autograph.

Every big ticket fight has its pre-fight drama to try to get fans interested.

The fight is on Netflix tonight. I'm gonna watch it. I just saw on Fox that Tyson could make as much as $20 million and Paul as much as $40 million. That's racist an sh!t.

I have my doubts as to how legit this "fight" actually is.

I don't doubt the 20 mil and 40 mil numbers. There is insane money in boxing if the match is properly hyped.

Netflix dropped the ball too. I don't think they were prepared for the amount of people that wanted to see it. I'm reading tons of posts online about how people couldn't watch it due to lag and buffering issues.

They're working on pickling him. He's a cadaver already, but doesn't know it.
