    Quality time with ....a dog?

Daughter and husband just spent some days in Nashville, she bought some nice boots and him another guitar...on the way to Blue Ridge where they'll spend one or two nights, then down to Atlanta where a good friend of his lives and should be here by Sunday night.

Meanwhile I've been spending time with grandson Hendrix, a two year old mutt, well behaved, playful medium sized kid. IMG_2747.jpg

Yup....had the real grandkids here over the weekend too, parents were getting scuba certified down in Key Largo.
I'm getting even though, Monday or Tuesday we're leaving for the island, just the two of us.

I completely understand. Wife and I have no kids, so the dogs are our kids.

Dogs are better than most people, nothing wrong with spending time with them.

That dog looks like one of my dogs.
We have met the enemy and he is us.

How is it that we can't escape this duty, Fred.
Just had my daughter's dog again last week while they took a trip.
I always get the " you have three there already, what's one more?"

Again huh? We need to do something about these Kristi girls. I wanted to leave for the island today, but no, she won't get back in town until tomorrow night and if I take her baby she won't see him for another week. The guy is so spoiled here I wonder if he wants to go back with them. I'll take off Monday morning.
