No Pogo I don't recall a series per say? I have watched a lot of different documentaries on them. If your watching the Youtube talking heads on them their seriously coming down on "Marcus Latrell" lone survivor. Kind of swaying to the facts that the movie was complete B.S. their words now not mine. Again their words I guess he split when the shooting started and he never fired a shot according to them?
The came to our reunion and most all are really really nice guys. But its a shame what their doing with this Latrell thing as its tearing up the worlds view of a very very professional good bunch of spec. ops. men.
Anyway that thread I put up is about the Aussie S.A.S. and those guys are freaking incredible. They drove the V.C. nuts in Vietnam toying with their minds disrupting them and taking out individuals literally at will. The term 'Animals' is not derogatory now it was the S.E.A.L.s saying they became one with the jungle becoming just another animal melting in to the environment.

I read something about it I did not remember it was him chasing the guys killed his dog. I think he told the police to stay the frig out of his way he was going to kill them or something?

ADD: Marcus Luttrell chases the guy that shoots his dog #marcusluttrell #navyseal #lonesurvivor #military

The ROK, Whitehorse soldiers were some bad ass troops also. When they entered an enemy ville... and then walked out the other side....half the ville might be laying out in the street, dead...but it was a good ville from then on.

Kind of sad what is happening with the S.E.A.L.s now. Those men are some of the best America has. But their inner fighting with each other is making them look like unprofessional Boy Scouts. He lied and he does not deserve the M.O.H. he didn't kill Bin Laden I did, he didn't do this or that etc... WTF over STFU the whole world is listening to your childish behavior.

Didn't barry sotero put the SEAL team that killed ben Lauden on an army ch47. So the Taliban could kill them with a manpad?

dinky I am just going by what is available for all to read on that sad incident. Nah I don't think the HNIC was smart enough or had enough inside knowledge to do that? I guess? They were using them as a quick reaction team to rescue those trapped men? You don't want to see any friendlies die but that was just a bad coincidence of some of the best America had getting killed. R.I.P. men.

If you're not an animal when fighting a war, you're doing it wrong. United States Marines earned this designation in the Battle of Belleau Wood in the first World War. German soldiers called the U.S. Marines "Teufelhunde" which translates to "dogs from Hell", then later "devildogs". Devildog is a moniker that still holds up today. Devildog is a moniker that I am proud to have earned.

John Chapman M.O.H. ??? Should MSG. Chapman get the M.O.H.??

                            1. The "Left Behind" Feud (Air Force vs. Navy SEALs)

During Operation Anaconda on March 4, 2002, John Chapman was attached to a Navy SEAL Team 6 element led by Senior Chief Britt Slabinski. Under heavy fire, Chapman charged an enemy bunker, was shot, and became unresponsive. Believing Chapman was dead, Slabinski ordered a retreat down the mountain. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Years later, the Air Force used advanced technology to analyze high-definition Predator drone footage and radio logs. The evidence revealed a shocking truth: Chapman was not dead when the SEALs left. He had been knocked unconscious, woke up alone, and fought Al-Qaeda forces single-handedly for over an hour—even engaging in hand-to-hand combat—to protect an incoming rescue helicopter before he was finally killed. O.k. M.S.G. John Chapman U.S.A.F. Para Rescue.. Attach to Seal Team 6 for body recovery Battle of Takur Ghar (2002). During the recovery fight Chapman was wounded and 'presumed' K.I.A. by the S.E.A.L.s. The S.E.A.L.s left him he woke up and fought for an hour which was videotaped by a C.I.A. drone.
Now their saying the A.F. boogered up the the video to show Chapman alive. This would be a slap in the face of dishonor for the S.E.A.L.s leaving a man behind. Hence so should he get the M.O.H. or is it a scam by the A.F.???? All making total fools of themselves with the face saving fighting.
