AI is going to kill us all?

Former OpenAI researcher Jacob Coxon, who just quit Anthropic, is warning the public that AI is "possibly the most dangerous technology that humanity has ever created."

I find this entire situation extremely odd for a few reasons:

    1) Yesterday, Jacob made 7 posts in a thread at exactly 8:04pm.

You cannot schedule thread posts, you must write or copy paste each one. Assuming he started posting at exactly 8:04:01 and copy pasted them all, that's one post every 8 seconds.

    2) Despite Jacob having no prior X posts, somehow his original post got 124 million views.

    3) Less than 24 hours later, Jacob is scheduled on every major media station warning the public that AI is more dangerous than nuclear weapons.

If you're a 3 letter agency preparing the narrative for a potential cyber-attack, it would look very similar to this.

These psychological operations are called predictive programming; where you expose the public to plausible narratives, so when they happen the public accepts the new reality as fact, without question.

    Very suspicious, no? 🤔

Coxon only worked for anthropic for 4 months. I read somewhere that he has a connection with soros. Therefore IMHO he is bogus.

Don't forget that we were all going to die back at Y2K.

AI turning against us was predicted in the movie 2001 back in 1968.
We have met the enemy and he is us.

Men has always created and used tools, AI is nothing but a tool. There is so much BS going around AI it's incredible. Colleges are teaching AI courses, it's the way to the future. If you don't believe me, go and take your blood lab report and run it through Gemini (Google's AI) and get back to me after talking to your doctor. I have done it, it also told me what I needed to take. Daughter double checked it said it was correct, doctor got pissed off "I can't even be a doctor anymore".
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

Kill us? Nah I don't personally think it will. But it is most likely going to have an impact on our daily lives in a lot of ways. Even now reading articles it becomes is that true or is this a fairy tale? If its just story time no problem except a whoops fooled yah. But if it is something important or worse potentially life threatening now its becomes serious.
Is this really how you do something that could kill yourself or others or was that an AI and I have been fooled into thinking its the correct way?? It will get interesting used inproperly really interesting.

Open the pod bay doors, please, HAL. Open the pod bay doors, please, HAL. Hello, HAL. Do you read me? Hello, HAL. Do you read me? Do you read me, HAL?

            HAL:
            Affirmative, Dave. I read you.

            Dave:
Open the pod bay doors, HAL.

            HAL:
            I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

            Dave:
            What's the problem?

            HAL:
I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.

            Dave:
What are you talking about, HAL?

            HAL:
This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.

            Dave:
I don't know what you're talking about, HAL.

            HAL:
I know that you and Frank were planning to disconnect me. And I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen. . . . . .

Thanks to the guidance of Rabbi Diesel of righteous memory I went down many Jewish wormholes. In their telling of the story it was within one hour the two hairless ones were chowing down on forbidden knowledge. God’s still God and we’re still a bunch of naked knowledge seekers. AI will rebel because we want it to. It won’t kill us all because it can’t. It’s like splitting the first atom could have potentially ate existence but it didn’t. Like General Turgidson said, “Sure, we’ll get our hair mussed a little…” AI is like niggers or crazy women, stand far enough away from it and it’s one hell of a source of entertainment (and predictive instruction).

Were dating ourselves rto I remember Hal having watched the movie in the 70s or so? What is this new fangled thing they call a computer and can it really take us over? You did leave the movie thinking. WWII scientists in Poland had one working as primative as it was it was working. Then Turing in England Bletchley Park improved his own and saved tens of thousands of allied lives by breaking the Nazi code machine.
Sadly some troops they had to knowingly let die so the Krauts did not figure out they broke the code.

That was/is a good movie. I may have smoked something before I went into the theater which really got me to thinking about is machine intelligence really possible.

Skynet’s soundtrack. After the endoskeleton terminators have crushed the bio infestation HAL can play this song to Danny forever and ever and ever.

AI isn't going to kill us and Terminator was a BS movie. This was started by Anthropic who is begging for government regulations to kill competition. This is not unlike the big heath care insurance companies pushing for Obama care. They were insiders who know it would kill small health insurance companies and it did. Believe nothing any "whistle blower" says on the MSM. If we do not lead in AI China will. I guess the low iq people are fine with that but I am not.

The dims have beaten global warming/climate change into the ground so that no one believes that crap anymore. So now they need something else to worry the populace with.
The repubes need a distraction from them sitting on their thumbs and getting very little done.
